CHAR, LLC is an independent electricity generation company focused on the development of clean, renewable geothermal energy resources to produce and sell environmentally responsible energy to electric utilities and other customers.
Geothermal power generation uses existing, proven technology and does not require the consumption of fossil fuels. As a result, geothermal power production reduces carbon and other harmful emissions.
In certain regions of the United States, geothermal energy is an abundant, underdeveloped resource. CHAR has focused its initial efforts in such a region - the Salton Sea geothermal resource in the Imperial Valley of California. |
